…And I serve the Fairy Queen,
William Shakespeare
To dew her orbs upon the green;
The cowslips tall her pensioners be;
In their gold coats spots you see;
Those be rubies, fairy favours;
In those freckles live their savours;
I must go seek some dewdrops here,
And hang a pearl in every cowslip’s ear.
When we lose ourselves between the pages of a book, especially a fantasy book, it is easy to identify with the strong protagonists and experience the adventures with them.
We see and feel what they experience and forget everything else going on around us. After finishing the book or the reading, however, we abruptly return to reality.
No dragons. No fairy godmother. And definitely no house elves willing to do the cleaning for you. It would be nice to be able to take something away from these books, something that stays even when the words are over.
And something (that doesn’t require a magic portal) does indeed exist, hairstyles.
Have you ever read a description of a romantic ball and the protagonist had a very elegant hairstyle for the occasion?
Or the beautiful braids and decorations used for the magical forest creatures?
Have you ever dreamed of looking like the great queens of distant kingdoms?
If the answer is yes, you will love these hairstyles.
Straight/Wavy hair
Below you’ll find the most beautiful hairstyles I have found. Just seeing them makes me feel like I’m in the middle of an important battle or galloping my steed through a dark forest. I recommend these hairstyles to people who have straight or slightly wavy hair, but even those who don’t fit into this and want to try it, can easily do so with a few adjustments.

Wavy/Curly hair
These start with the hairstyle of my beloved Jude (protagonist of the cruel prince). These fairy hairstyles are suitable for wavy or curly hair (because they hold up better) but if you want to try them anyway, there’s no stopping you!

This one definitely reminds me of the iconic Rapunzel braid, I’m sure it will take more than a few children to make it but it will certainly make a show.

Curly/Afro-textured hair
Fighter hair, I imagine protagonists fighting the enemy with all their might, and defeating them in spite of fluttering hair. These hairstyles, especially the first one, I recommend for hair that is much curlier than the previous ones. I think they look their best that way, but if you don’t fit into the category, it costs nothing to try.

The hairstyles end here, please tell me in the comments if you have tried any of these. Have fun!!!
