There are many Adsense, Adthrive and Mediavine reviews and even Siteground’s but I saw very little on the web when I was looking for an honest and complete monumetric review. It was so difficult to find anything real about this network that I just took a leap of faith and subscribed.

Today I want to talk about it and more importantly, let you see my experience. If you’re here, you’ve decided it’s time to make some money with your blog and you’re ready to start your journey…so I’ll help you where I can.

So,
Which ad network company will pay you the best and is the best for the needs of your website? This Monumetric review will tell you everything you need to know and more.

Ezoic Review – My First Ad Network

Let’s talk about Ezoic.
EzoicAds accepts any website of any size. And many say it is the best alternative to Google Ads. It pays better, gives you more support and takes better care of your blogs.

My experience? Not a great one.
In fact, I have never used Google Ads for one simple reason. They kept rejecting me (my poor heart). So for a year, the only way I could monetize was through Amazon affiliates.

Which, in case you don’t know, is not so great. Amazon only pays you pennies, even if you sponsor a lot of products and manage to sell them for hundreds of dollars.

You need to have hundreds of thousands of visitors each month to expect to earn a salary from Amazon affiliates, at least that’s what I’ve seen in my experience.
So I desperately set out to find the ad networks that accept blogs with less than 10k views per month.

And I found Ezoic.

At first I was so happy.

Running a blog is a lot easier than other types of businesses, but it’s not free. It costs a certain amount of money to start a blog, which increases after the first year. So when I discovered that there was a way to get that money back right away, I was overjoyed.

I didn’t wait and signed up right away. Only at that time, if you had less than 10k views, you didn’t have any kind of support in installing ads. You had to do it all yourself.

And I’m not really good at coding. Especially at the beginning of my blogging journey, I knew almost nothing, barely how to use WordPress.

But I tried. For days. It was nerve-wracking trying to figure out what to put where and all the names and codes to enter through WordPress, Siteground and Ezoic. But finally I did it.

And I nearly had a heart attack.

I don’t know what I did wrong (probably more than one thing), but I couldn’t get into my wordpress anymore. As you can imagine, I was terrified.

I had already written about 50 articles and spent months working on this blog. And from one second to the next, it was all gone. It wouldn’t let me in, but it wasn’t just that. When I googled my URL, nothing would come up.

To cut a long story short, I immediately wrote to support. Both Ezoic’s and Siteground’s (which is the host of my blog, I highly recommend it to start with). Siteground responded right away.

They reassured me (which I really needed) and told me that the problem wasn’t coming from them, so I could either contact Ezoic or unplug everything from my site and it would be back to business as usual. Ezoic didn’t respond so the next day, I shut everything down and didn’t look back.

Now let me be clear. I am 65% convinced that this problem was my fault. But my anger at Ezoic stems from the fact that even though it was a critical time for me, support did not respond to me until a month later. Besides, I think it is really exaggerated to put so much weight on bloggers without any support.

Anyway, I don’t go near Ezoic anymore since that big scare, and that’s why the only other alternative I found was Monumetric.

Monetize your site with Manumetric ads

To be honest, Monumetric is rarely the first option people recommend when we talk about Google Ads alternatives. I didn’t even hear that name for many months in my blogging journey. And I still need to understand why.

I first read this name in an article that talked about high paying google adsense alternatives but unfortunately I can’t remember the name of the website.

I was happy to finally hear about an option I didn’t know about, so I tried to find some more info about it. I found out that to be accepted you need to have at least 10k visitors per month on your site and that you have to pay a small fee for installing the ads.

My blog was growing fast at the time, so the 10k views per month requirement wasn’t a problem for me, but the fee was. I was already paying for my second year of blogging and I really wasn’t in the mood to spend money again.

But I thought about it. If I really wanted to make money blogging, I had to take some risks. It was not worth paying for my host if I never made that money back.

How much money did I make with Monumetric ads?

I subscribed to Monumetric at the end of October 2023. And for weeks I didn’t hear from anyone, but I wasn’t that shocked. All the reviews and comments about this revenue partner said it would take weeks or even months to get full advertiser approvals.

So I wrote to them and asked for some updates on my application.

I am really thankful that I did, otherwise I might still be waiting (lol).

They replied within a week and we started the installations. They were very supportive every step of the way and did all the work for me. It was really great to see the process without having to stress about it.

It was December 20th and my ads were up.

Monumetric console results

As you can see, these results start from December 20th to January 1st. And in just 13 days I made more money than in a year of affiliate marketing.

Unfortunately, I started with Monumetric at the end of 2023, so the earnings went down fast.

In fact, you should know that while December is a great month to sell anything thanks to the holidays, January is the worst.

In fact, sales are much slower, companies have run out of money to spend on advertising, and so everyone knows that you make much less money than at other times of the year.

That is why January looked like this.

Monumetric review results

Then from the 10th of January to about the 10th of February, as you can see, there was a drop in revenue and also in impressions. So this resulted in very few cents, but it was earned every single day.

As I told you, the only other way I was making money was through Amazon affiliates, and with that you not only make a few cents, but only when you get a sale. So not every day.

As you can see from the graph, in many months with Monumetric I earned about $127, so not that much, especially if you count the fee you pay to sign up. I earned back the 99$, so the real profit after all this time is 30$.

But to make this Monumetric review completely honest, I also have to explain what happened during those months.

Actually, I was a bit unlucky.

Most, like 97% of the traffic I got on my blog came from my Pinterest account. Which really took off at the end of 2023. I was getting a lot of impressions, but mostly thousands of outbound clicks. That allowed me to finally get to 10k and even surpass that. I was over the moon.

But watch the purple line.

Starting in early January, the line took a nasty dive. In fact, my Pinterest profile lost thousands of views FROM ONE DAY TO THE OTHER.

As you can imagine, I was in a state of despair.

From month to month my views had not changed that much. It’s only now that I see a steady growth that I think will allow me to earn a more decent salary.

So now the truth.

Monumetric review: Will I recommend it?

Honestly, it depends on many things like:

  • How many monthly views does your blog get?
  • Are you willing to pay a fee to join the platform?
  • Do you have patience?

The truth is that Monumetric is the best Google Adsense alternative. It pays more, it gives you SO MUCH better support AND it’s easy to get started and use.

If you have under 50K monthly views, you cannot join Mediavine (another ad network that pays great). Ezoic is the worst option for me. So if you want to have ads in my opinion you should really try with monumetric. If you have 10k monthly views on your blog or more, you’ll earn back the joining fee in about a month or so. And then it only gets better.

Why do I say you have to be patient? Monumetric has many ad partners and needs to get a thumbs up before placing the ads on your site. So if you sign up today, you’ll probably have to wait at least a month before you see the ads and get your money. But you will.

So I recommend to subscribe to the platform from today and stop waiting for some miracle to make money with your blog (like I did for a year).

If you want to subscribe you can use this link and I will get a small commission. If not, it’s okay, I wrote this article to help you all as much as I can, so don’t feel pressured. Think about your blogging goals, what you want to get out of it, and when you are ready, go ahead and subscribe.

I just recommend that you do it as soon as you can because right now Monumetric is still accepting smaller websites.

But we don’t really know if that will change in the future.

So have fun, grow your blog and passive income as much as you can and go live the life of your dreams (cheesy I know).
